KnoppaEvery parent will always want to be as close to their new baby as much as possible, even at night time. However, conventional baby cradles and the practicality of where to place them can mean this isn't always possible. This can also mean a delay at night when attending a little one that has woken up for a cry whilst the parent stumbles their way to where the cradle is placed.
Fortunately, the ingenious designers behind the Knoppa hanging cradle managed to solve this problem with their practical and attractive creation. Their inspiration was drawn from facing this very issue and their imagined solution was a cradle hanging above them that would also rock their little one with a soothing and calming motion. Once they had made one for their son, they quickly realised how simple but effective it was and this, Knoppa was born.
Taken from the Swedish slang word for the verb "to sleep", Knoppa is most definitely an appropriate name for it since it has such a wonderful and comforting effect on babies! We fell in love the with whole concept as soon as we saw it and the fact the design was also rather gorgeous meant we simply had to make this baby cradle available on the site.
Looks can also be deceiving though! The Knoppa baby cradle is also rather versatile since it can be folded flat to double as a travel cot for those little ones that want to get out there and see the world. It could also be used out in the garden or on a terrace giving you more flexibility to be near your child as he or she naps.
The fact that, when attached to the ceiling, the cradle can rock in such a fluid motion can't be underestimated and we're sure that you will love the effect it has on your baby.
