Every parent will always want to be as close to their new baby as much as possible, even at night time. Their inspiration was drawn from facing this very issue and their imagined solution was a cradle hanging above them that would also rock their little one with a soothing and calming motion. Once they had made one for their son, they quickly realised how simple but effective it was and this, Knoppa was born.

Taken from the Swedish slang word for the verb "to sleep", Knoppa is most definitely an appropriate name for it since it has such a wonderful and comforting effect on babies! We fell in love the with whole concept as soon as we saw it and the fact the design was also rather gorgeous meant we simply had to make this baby cradle available on the site.

Looks can also be deceiving though! The Knoppa baby cradle is also rather versatile since it can be folded flat to double as a travel cot for those little ones that want to get out there and see the world. It could also be used out in the garden or on a terrace giving you more flexibility to be near your child as he or she naps.
