Moomins

There can't be many more fabulous stories for any child to grow up reading that those of the Moomins. Created by the eccentric and fascinating Finnish artist and writer Tove Jansson, they have captivated children and adults alike the world over since she first created them in the 1940s.

The stories can be defined by the amazing characters that appear like Moomintroll, Little My and Snuffkin, each with their own individual and memorable personality. Their adventures will grab the imagination of children and most likely stay with them through their whole life as fabulous tales not to be forgotten.

However, there is so much more to the Moomins than their pure surface appeal with the multi-faceted story telling able to appeal to parents as well as children. Their melancholy innocence is a simply magical creation!

A childhood featuring the Moomins is a lucky childhood indeed and therefore without question we simply had to have a selection of Moomin products on Nordic Kids. The fact that we are also Moomin fanatics had nothing to do with it!
