In 2004, and after a period of designing and sewing bridal and evening clothes for an atelier in Stockholm, Beatrice Sjöberg gave birth to her daughter which turned her attention to maternity wear. With this, the label Sobea was born!
Focusing on her desire to bring a range of clothes for pregnant women that feature beautiful colours and are stylish enough that they would be of use even after the baby is born, she created her 'Mama Yoga' range.
With a stretchy waistband on the bottoms, the 'Mama Yoga' garments from Sobea are incredibly comfortable and with the matching hooded top make for an outfit that never needs to disappear to the back of the wardrobe!
At Nordic Kids, we knew Sobea would be well received as soon as we saw just how they manage to be both luxurious and comfy at the same time. In fact, once our delivery arrived it has been a struggle not to raid the stock for ourselves!
The collection has certainly proved that practicality doesn't mean you need to sacrifice style and were sure you'll feel extra special in your pregnancy when wearing Sobea.
